Everybody gets Diarrhea from time to time and it is no fun. Sometimes it will come without a warning and there is nothing at that time you can do about it except to go home or to a place to where you can take a bath and change your clothes. If this experience happens to you around other people just quietly excuse your self and go and take care of the problem. Most of us will have this experience more then once in our lives and it happens when it happens and there is not a lot you can do to prevent this experience when it takes place. We all feel bad when others have this experience and we know what they are feeling in side because we have had the same experience. This will happen to the best of us so just grin and bear it, and then do what you can to take care of the problem.
Diarrhea can be prevented if you are eating Fiber-Enriched foods. That means that your diet is centered around eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. The eating of whole grains means that you will grind your own wheat and other grain in a wheat grinder or a coffee grinder to make fresh hot cereal or fresh flour for pancakes, bread, muffins or for any of your baking needs. This fresh flour has both the Bran and the Wheat Germ in it. This fresh flour when eaten on a regular bases, it will prevent Diarrhea and also the eating of fresh fruits and vegetables will prevent you from ever having Diarrhea. The white flour that you buy in a store can cause Diarrhea because it has no Bran or Wheat Germ in it. Both of these have been removed. That is why it is so important that you grind your own flour. Also most of the prepared foods that you just pop into a microwave oven, this food have no fiber in it. If you are one that just don't want to use a wheat grinder then buy foods that say Fiber-Enriched on the product. Even though it is written on the product it does not have the same amount of Fiber that you will find in eating the fresh fruits and vegetables and the whole grains. Eating foods that are high in Fiber will also prevent you from having Cancer.
Sometimes when we buy a case of oranges at Christmas time and we are eating lots of oranges, it will give us Diarrhea. The eating of lots of fruit all at one time, this will flush out the toxins and the impurities out of our system. This is a natural process that is taking place. In fact it is a good idea to eat a meal of fresh fruit from time to time and only fresh fruit so you can get rid of those toxins and impurities. This is a natural process and you will get Diarrhea. You let it be to do its thing and then you go back to a diet of Fiber-Enriched foods.
If you presently have Diarrhea don't panic. There are a few Remedies that will stop Diarrhea in most people. If one of these does not work then try another one or try a combination of them.
1. Grading Carrots and eating them raw will cure diarrhea.
2. Eating two or three bananas will stop diarrhea.
3. Put Apples in a blender then pour this into a bowl and eat it after it turns brown. I have also been informed that you can cut up an apple and eat the slices after they have turned brown.
4. Eat Yogurt. This is pleasant to eat for both adults or children. It is suggested that when Diarrhea does happen it is best to eat yogurt after each meal.
5. Garlic will cure Diarrhea real quick if you dice or grate it and eat it with a teaspoon of honey or milk and take this two or three times a day.
6. Carob powder is excellent in controlling Diarrhea, and if you add a pinch of Slippery Elm Powder this Remedy will work a whole lot better. For those of you who don't know Carob is a chocolate substitute for those who can not eat chocolate, and by adding some Carob to your pancake mix, or sprinkling it onto your hot or cold cereal or adding it to any of your baking goods or sprinkle some into your milk or juices, this will help to prevent any future Diarrhea.
7. The eating of a couple of handfuls of Blueberries, Huckleberries, Blackberries and fresh Garden Peas, all of these will control Diarrhea. All of these are high in fiber and they are all rich in Pectin. Both of these, the Fiber and the Pectin are deadly enemies to Diarrhea. I have a friend that lives in New Jersey and blueberries grows wild everywhere. I also have a friend that lives in Walla Walla, Washington and blackberries grow wild there everywhere. Where I live Huckleberries grow wild on many of the mountain slopes out here and they can be picked during the month of August. Garden Peas can be grown in anybodies backyard anywhere in the world. Those of you who have access to any of these berries, you need to store some in your freezer so that when Diarrhea strikes anyone in your family you can pull these berries out of the freezer and put them to good use. Most stories sell both blueberries and/or blackberries for several months. This is an enjoyable way to control Diarrhea.
8. There is also the Wonder Medicine called " Pepto-Bismol " which can be bought in any store. A small bottle of this medicine will fit just about anywhere and it can travel wherever you go. It will cure Diarrhea, heartburn, Upset Stomach, Nausea and Indigestion. So don't leave home without one.
Farm animals will sometimes get Diarrhea, and if it is not controlled the animals could die. When the Diarrhea takes place in a farm animal, boil some Barley and when the Barley Water has cooled, let your farm animals drink it. This Barley Water will control Diarrhea in both animals and people but people most generally will not drink it because it is nasty tasting. Rice Water will also cure Diarrhea in both animals and people.
There is a way to make Barley Water taste really good and I call it Barley Brew. I will go to a farmer's store and I will buy a 50 pound bag of rolled barley that is used to feed horses. This grain is fairly clean but I will put the grain in a cake pan or on a cookie pan with sides on it and let it roast in an oven for a couple of hours at 350 degrees or until it turns to a golden brown color. Then you use a double boiler pan to make your brew. A double boiler is two pans inside each other. The bottom one holds water that you would boil. The inside pan has holes all over the bottom of it and you put on the in side of it, a double paper towel. Then you pour onto the paper towel a fair amount of the roasted barley. The steam will rise up and drippings will come off the barley forming Barley Brew in the bottom pan. This brew will be a brown color and you pour it into coffee mugs and sweeten it with sugar or honey. Then you add cream, milk or a coffee creamer. This brew is very tasty and it is very healthy for you. Barley Brew will clean all the impurities out of your body and it will control Diarrhea. Also you can drink all you want with no side effects.
Always remember that if you are eating a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains, your chances of getting Diarrhea will be rare. Believe it or not your chances of getting Constipated, will be rare also. The eating of Fiber-Enriched foods will help you out in both ways.
